BEYOND THE APOSTILLE
Embassy Legalization for Non-Hague Countries
Countries that are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention require embassy or consular legalization instead of an apostille. This process varies by document type and destination country, and generally involves authentication through the U.S. Department of State followed by legalization at the destination country's embassy or consulate in Washington, D.C. Miami Dade Apostille's Washington, D.C. office handles this process.
