Using U.S. documents for a family, residence, study or legal matter in Argentina? Contact Miami Dade Apostille with copies, the recipient's instructions and your deadline. We review the proposed apostille and translation work. Send required originals or certified copies to our team only after confirmed format and delivery instructions.
Send readable copies, your intended use in Argentina, the recipient's current instructions and the full deadline. Start with copies so we can review the proposed service before you send originals. If mailing, use a trackable shipping method and keep your tracking number.
We review the state, federal, court or notarial certification and identify the proposed authentication route. Confirm legal, immigration, academic or registry requirements with the appropriate authority or adviser.
We explain the agreed services and any requested replacement-record or notarization work. Confirm the translator requirements and approved wording for powers or affidavits before work begins.
Send required originals or certified copies to Miami Dade Apostille only after we confirm the format and delivery instructions. Keep copies and provide the agreed return details.
We coordinate the appropriate state or federal authorities and the translation or notarization services you approve. Preparation and authority review can affect the schedule.
We arrange the agreed return or delivery. Check the package against the recipient's request and follow its separate appointment, application, recognition or registration instructions.
Planning to use U.S. documents for family matters, residence, study, work or a legal transaction in Argentina? Contact Miami Dade Apostille with readable copies, the recipient's current instructions and your deadline. We review documents from all 50 U.S. states and eligible federal records, explain the proposed services and confirm what our team needs. The receiving registry, institution or authority decides its requirements and acceptance.
Argentina acceded to the Apostille Convention on May 8, 1987, and it entered into force for Argentina on February 18, 1988. The United States acceded on December 24, 1980, with entry into force on October 15, 1981. The Convention operates between the two countries; the current HCCH record shows no objection blocking that bilateral relationship. Argentine consular guidance confirms that covered U.S. documents with an apostille do not need an additional consular legalization.
An apostille authenticates the relevant signature, official capacity and seal or stamp on a covered public document. It does not approve the contents, grant a visa, establish nationality or guarantee that the document satisfies a particular Argentine procedure. Diplomatic and consular acts and certain administrative documents dealing directly with commercial or customs operations fall outside the Convention. Tell us the exact use so the proposed service fits the record.
The document's issuer determines the authentication route. State-issued records and eligible notarized documents generally follow the competent authority in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction. Federal agency records use the U.S. Department of State's Office of Authentications; federal court records have designated court clerks and deputy clerks. U.S. consular vital reports have a separate federal vital-record route. Our team reviews the certification and coordinates the appropriate authority rather than assuming every record can receive a Florida apostille.
Share the Argentine recipient's checklist and your deadline with our team. We confirm the document format, apostille route and any translation requirements before you send required originals or certified copies. If mailing, use a trackable shipping method and keep your tracking number.
The Argentine Consulate in Miami describes an option for Argentine nationality for children of native Argentine parents, subject to the applicable conditions. Its current checklist requests an apostilled foreign birth certificate and, for births within its district, a simple detailed translation of the certificate. Parent information, identity records and where the birth occurred matter. This procedure-specific translation instruction is not a waiver of authentication or a general rule for every Argentine application. Confirm eligibility and the responsible consulate before ordering services.
A certified record of an existing U.S. marriage serves a different purpose from the documents requested for a future ceremony in Argentina. Ask the receiving civil registry, authority or Argentine adviser which record, version and issue date it needs, including any documents about an earlier marriage. Share that request with us before obtaining replacements. We coordinate agreed authentication and translation work; an apostille alone does not register a marriage or decide whether a person may marry.
Authentication does not make every U.S. divorce judgment automatically effective for an Argentine registry. For example, the City of Buenos Aires publishes a judicial-order procedure for registering foreign divorce or adoption judgments concerning marriages celebrated or births occurring in Buenos Aires City. Its instructions distinguish the foreign judgment, the order for registration and the required translation. This is a local example, not a rule for every province. An Argentine legal adviser should confirm the recognition and registry steps for your case.
An estate, pension provider, insurer or civil registry can request a U.S. death certificate for different reasons. Tell us who will receive it and provide any instructions about the certified version, complete record and translation. A death record, a consular document and proof of inheritance rights are not interchangeable. Miami Dade Apostille reviews the proposed document services; the responsible authority or adviser handles estate rights, registration and benefit eligibility.
If your recipient requests an FBI Identity History Summary, it is a federal agency record and follows the federal apostille route, not a Florida state apostille. An Argentine Registro Nacional de Reincidencia certificate is a different record. Migraciones' worker-residence checklist distinguishes Argentine checks from foreign-country certificates and links the latter to age and residence history. Confirm the exact record and issue-date requirement for your category. We do not assume every applicant needs an FBI report or assign it a universal expiration period.
A consular visa and a residence application handled by Migraciones have their own checklists. The current worker-residence guidance includes identity, criminal-record and employment evidence, while consular study guidance says requirements vary with nationality, course and length of study. Authentication prepares the agreed records; it does not establish immigration eligibility or replace a visa interview or residence decision. Send us the current instructions for your actual category so we can plan the document work around them.
Nationality-option, Migraciones, CABA registry and university procedures each have different translation and certification requirements. Send the recipient's written instructions to our team before ordering any work.
Do not assume a translation accepted for one Argentine procedure will work for another. Migraciones' current migration-status certification procedure calls for public-translator and professional-college formalities for non-MERCOSUR foreign records; the City of Buenos Aires specifies its own public-translator requirements for foreign-judgment registration. Miami's nationality-option checklist has a narrower simple-translation instruction. Miami Dade Apostille offers certified translation services and qualified translators. Confirm the recipient's required translator status and certification before commissioning the work.
An apostilled diploma is not the same as an academically recognized degree or permission to practice a profession. Argentina's education authority distinguishes reválida for degrees from countries without a mutual-recognition agreement from convalidación under applicable agreements or special categories. The United States is not in the listed agreement-country group, so an ordinary U.S. degree generally needs the relevant national university's reválida review. Confirm any special category, program requirements and separate professional registration. We coordinate agreed diploma, transcript and authentication services.
Secondary-school recognition and higher non-university qualifications follow different education procedures from university degrees. Argentina's official education guide distinguishes secondary convalidación for agreement countries, recognition for other countries and reválida for qualifying non-university higher studies. A school's admissions request can also differ from a national recognition process. Ask the issuing school or registrar for the appropriate official record and share the Argentine recipient's checklist with our team before authentication or translation begins.
Have the receiving Argentine lawyer, escribano, bank or authority confirm the wording and legal form of a proposed power. Miami's Argentine consular-power instructions require a draft prepared on the letterhead of, or signed by, an Argentine lawyer or escribano and identify additional information for registrable property. A power executed before an Argentine consul is a different instrument from a U.S. notarized document with an apostille. We review the services requested without deciding which legal instrument your transaction requires.
Miami Dade Apostille offers remote online notarization for eligible documents, subject to the applicable law and receiving authority's requirements. An Argentine recipient may need a particular form of signature, identification or instrument. Obtain its acceptance instructions and approved wording before signing a declaration or authorization. An apostille authenticates the covered official act; it does not correct a document with the wrong wording or make every online notarization acceptable for every purpose.
Incorporation records, official business certificates and signed company authorizations may have different authentication needs from export or customs paperwork. Certain administrative documents directly connected to commercial or customs operations are outside the Apostille Convention. The Argentine Embassy also publishes a separate procedure for specified chamber-of-commerce documents. Identify the document and recipient before selecting a service. We coordinate the agreed authentication work without promising that every commercial document can use the same route.
An apostille does not itself expire, but an Argentine recipient may require the underlying record to have been issued within a particular period. A newly issued record may therefore need new authentication. Share complete copies, including certification pages and attachments, and flag differences in names or dates. If a replacement is needed, obtain it from the underlying vital-record office, court clerk, school or other custodian in the issuing jurisdiction. Send originals or certified copies to our team only after confirmed format and delivery instructions.
Standard state processing can take months. Miami Dade Apostille offers processing as soon as the same day for eligible documents. Contact us to confirm availability. This is our planning guidance, not an official queue quotation or a guarantee for every record. Federal processing, document preparation, translation, any additional legalization, shipping and Argentine appointments, recognition or registration have separate timelines. Include your complete deadline so we can explain the available service and delivery options.

For a covered U.S. public document under the operative U.S.–Argentina Apostille Convention relationship, the apostille replaces additional diplomatic or consular legalization. Argentine consular guidance confirms that it does not add another legalization to those apostilled documents. Exceptions and the receiving procedure still matter, especially for documents outside the Convention's scope.
Check the specific consulate and procedure. Miami's current nationality-option checklist for births within its district calls for an apostilled birth certificate with a simple detailed translation of the certificate, rather than a certified translation. Births outside the district and the record's parent information require additional review. This narrow instruction does not replace the different translation rules of other Argentine authorities.
No. Apostille authentication, academic recognition and professional registration are separate. Argentina distinguishes reválida from agreement-based convalidación and special categories. A U.S. degree generally falls under a national university's reválida review, subject to the applicable category. Confirm the program and licensing requirements with the relevant institution and professional body.
No. Recognition and civil-registry action can be separate from authentication. The City of Buenos Aires, for example, publishes a judicial-order process for foreign divorce judgments concerning marriages celebrated in Buenos Aires City. Ask an Argentine legal adviser about the competent jurisdiction and your case. We can coordinate the agreed certified-record, apostille and translation work.
An FBI Identity History Summary follows the federal authentication route because it is a federal agency record. It is not processed as a Florida state record. Confirm that the Argentine recipient needs an FBI report rather than another criminal-record certificate, and ask about the required issue date. Federal processing is separate from eligible same-day state service.
Remote online notarization may be available for an eligible document, but the recipient must accept the proposed form and the applicable legal requirements must be met. A U.S. notarized power with an apostille and a power executed before an Argentine consul are different instruments. Obtain the Argentine recipient's approved wording and instructions before signing.
An apostille does not itself expire. The recipient may still require a recently issued birth certificate, background check or other underlying document. If you need a newly issued record, it may also need new authentication. Send us the actual checklist and deadline; do not assume one expiration period applies to every Argentine procedure.
Start with readable copies, the Argentine recipient's current instructions and your full deadline. We review the proposed services and confirm the document format. Send required originals or certified copies to our team only after receiving confirmed delivery instructions. The receiving authority retains decisions about requirements, eligibility and acceptance.

Miami Dade Apostille is a private document coordination service, not a government agency or law firm. We do not provide legal advice, complete applications, determine document requirements, or issue government records or apostilles. Clients must confirm requirements directly with the consulate, embassy or receiving authority in Argentina. Government and receiving authorities decide eligibility and acceptance.
