Apostille for Belgium

When a Belgian employer, school or public office asks for U.S. paperwork, Miami Dade Apostille can help prepare the eligible records. We coordinate apostille services across all 50 states, federal agencies and federal courts; the designated government authorities issue the apostilles. A qualifying apostille replaces Belgian diplomatic or consular legalization for covered U.S. public documents. Your receiving office still decides which documents it needs and whether they meet the requirements for your procedure.

Let us review the Belgian recipient's request

Share the checklist or instructions, readable copies and the date the completed documents must arrive. We can discuss the work your file needs before you arrange delivery.

One service for the records in your file

Your package may contain several kinds of records, each with its own certification route. We can review the following groups for apostille and supporting services, subject to the document's eligibility and the receiving office's instructions.

  • Birth, marriage and death certificates, civil-status records and single-status statements
  • Certified divorce decrees, adoption orders, probate records and other court documents
  • FBI background checks and eligible state or local police records
  • Diplomas, degrees, transcripts, school records and professional education certificates
  • Powers of attorney, affidavits, consent letters, declarations and other eligible notarized records
  • Eligible federal documents concerning naturalization, tax residency or Social Security
  • Employment, pension, income, financial and medical records with the required certification
  • Corporate formation and status records, resolutions, contracts and eligible business or export-related documents
  • Passport and identity-document copies where certification is permitted and the receiving office accepts the format

Settle the translation language before ordering

Belgium's FPS Foreign Affairs directs foreign-language documents intended for use in Belgium to be translated into a national language. Ask your receiving office which language, translator qualifications and certification it requires, including whether a sworn translation is needed. Confirm whether the apostille and attachments need translation and whether paper is required. We can coordinate certified translations with qualified translators after reviewing those instructions. An apostille does not certify translation accuracy.

Arrange the U.S. document work from where you are

You can use eligible remote service without traveling to the United States solely to hire our team. If a document needs a signature, Remote Online Notarization depends on the record, signer circumstances, applicable law and receiving procedure. Separate record-access, signing or government attendance requirements still apply. We discuss the completed package's return with you before originals are sent; worldwide shipping is subject to destination and carrier availability.

Miami Dade Apostille is a private document coordination service, not a government agency or law firm. We do not provide legal advice, complete applications, determine document requirements, or issue government records or apostilles. Clients must confirm requirements directly with the consulate, embassy or receiving authority in Belgium. Government and receiving authorities decide eligibility and acceptance.
