Idaho apostille services and document preparation
Miami Dade Apostille coordinates Idaho document preparation and authentication for overseas use. Tell us what document you have, where it was issued and where it will be used. We are a private coordination service, not a government issuer or law firm.
Idaho authority and preparation
- The Idaho Secretary of State authenticates Idaho officials' and Idaho notaries' signatures. The destination determines apostille versus authentication; confirm the applicable treaty relationship and recipient requirements.
- Submit a certified public-record copy or an original properly notarized private document with the request form, destination and payment.
- School records need a school official's signature and notarization; arrange this with the school, rather than treating a student's signature as a substitute.
- In-person service requires an appointment. Mailing is also available. Standard return is first-class mail; provide a prepaid addressed airbill for overnight return.
- Allow time for processing and shipping.
Ordering birth records
- Idaho Vital Records has no public counter. Birth-record requests go by mail or through its authorized online partner.
- Eligibility and identification requirements apply. Check the current application carefully for required signatures and complete ID copies.
- If choosing the Bureau's rush option, select it before submitting; it cannot be added to an existing order. Record-ordering rush service is separate from Secretary of State authentication.
Locate the record first
- Idaho's state vital-records office holds marriage and divorce records from May 1947. Earlier marriage records are with the recorder in the license-issuing county; older divorce records are in the county where granted.
- For a full divorce decree, request the appropriate certified court record from that county and confirm the recipient's requested document. A vital-record certificate and the complete judgment are different requests.
- Birth and death records generally start with the Bureau; historical records may need local-custodian guidance.

Before sending originals
- Confirm the destination's document-version requirements before ordering or altering any record.
- Send clear scans for preparation review before committing originals. If mailing, use a trackable shipping method and keep your tracking number.
- Follow the linked current SOS request instructions and choose a return method. Application and official contact and appointment details are on the SOS page.
Working toward a deadline? Send us a scan before committing originals — we can review requirements and help coordinate the correct process. If mailing, use a trackable shipping method and keep your tracking number.
Remote notarization
Eligible privately signed documents may use our Florida RON service where Florida identity, witness and document requirements and recipient acceptance are met. This follows Florida authentication routing. It cannot turn an Idaho public record into a Florida record. Out-of-state public records follow their issuing jurisdiction.
